OneNote is a really handy software package included with some versions of Microsoft Office and is also sold as a standalone package. It is well worth the money.

I have been using Microsoft OneNote in both my business and personal activities for several years. Think of OneNote as a digital notebook to help you organize your business and personal life.

It can be used in a variety of ways but works especially well when used to organize different sources of information including instructions, lists, thoughts, doodles, articles, recipes, and just about any other type of information you would like to file away.

Information is organized into notebooks (I have setup both a personal and business notebook and many can be setup) which consist of series of section groups, sections, and pages – all in a digital format.

There are many capabilities for organizing your records and for searching what you have organized.

Look for more detail about OneNote in my blog during the next 3-4 weeks including use of OneNote on my new Xoom tablet. Have a great week!
